Q: I have seen a used woollen carding machine F.O.R. in 250cm width, please explain what is main points of this card.
A: It is SINGLE WORSTED CARD • Type 0794 - for any fineness of wool from 16 to 40 microns. The worsted card is entirely covered with rigid metallic wires, excepted for the workers and strippers of the carding part (that are flexible clothed) and excepted for the brush clothed rolls. The card is designed to be installed over a pit. It is equipped with interlocked guards to prevent accidents. The card has been designed to process with the same wires wool of any fineness and length.
Q: What is the meaning of 3,5 carding in your used Befama CR-24 carding machine
A: In our Befama carding machine there are 3 cylinders as follows:
1 - cylinder and doffer
2- cylinder and doffer
3- cylinder, doffer and brust
Due to brust in 3rd carding unit we call it 3.5 carding machine
