Wyatt Optilab T-rEX Refractive Index De

The Optilab T-rEX (Extended Range Refractometer) is
a refractive index detector with 256 times
the detection power and 50 times the dynamic range
of any currently existing RID.
By combining state-of-the-art semiconductor photodiode technology
and proprietary computer algorithms,
the T-rEX achieves an unprecedented combination of sensitivity and range.
For example, there are no range or profit settings.
The full range of instrument detection is always present
and full sensitivity exists across the entire range.
The rEX also features a flow cell with a total volume of
just 7.4uL - that's 25% less than
the leading refractometers available today.
This leads to minimization of band broadening
and better temperature stability.
The Optilab rEX can also do something no other online refractive
index detector can: it can measure the absolute refractive index of a solution.
It can also measure the dn/dc of a solvent
at the same wavelength of light as the light scattering instrument.
And just to make sure it can't be surpassed,
you can replace the light source in the T-rEX
with other wavelengths (e.g. 690, 633, 488, etc. ).
The new Optilab T-rEX shares the ability of
its predecessor (the Optilab rEX)
to operate below ambient temperatures as easily as above.
Hassle-free temperature control can be programmed
to 4°C or up to 50°C. Compatible with all HPLC systems.
